If you enquire about our products and services, we will work with the contact details you provide, mainly via the enquiry form. These are:

  4. phone number where you can be reached

We need to know this information in order to contact you for further arrangements regarding the delivery of the ordered goods or the provision of the ordered services. This is processing on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - contract negotiations or pre-contractual measures at your request. If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 1 year from our last communication.

Processing of personal data in case of purchase

If you make a purchase with us, we will work with the information you give us about yourself on the order form. This includes, in particular, billing information.

We need to process personal data in order to fulfil our contractual obligations to deliver the goods or services you have ordered. The personal data you provide will enable us to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your queries. We will also process the personal data in order to fulfil our obligations under the law (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or to deal with complaints, etc.). This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR - performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR - performance of our legal obligation. If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for the duration of our performance of the service and thereafter for 1 year from the last time such service was provided or goods were delivered.


Who can see your personal data?

Your data remains stored with us. However, the data may be accessed by third parties who operate the e-shop, pay for orders or transport orders. These include:

  • operator of the Upgates e-commerce platform.
  • companies involved in the dispatch of goods (PPL)
  • companies involved in the dispatch of payments Comgate, Raiffeisenbank

Newsletters (commercial communications) 

If you are a customer and you have not explicitly opted out of receiving information communications, we will use your e-mail address for the purpose of sending you information about new products, special offers and loyalty programmes. This is permitted by Section 7 (3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for 1 year from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the mechanism described at the foot of each newsletter or by sending an email to: madami@madami.cz

Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data

The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and ask for information about what personal data we process, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request a restriction on processing, you can request a copy of the personal data we process, request that we delete your personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing on the basis of legitimate interest.

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or take your claims to court.
